NSY: Pulau Tioman

haha..i know it is very very late to post about this trip but better late than never right? =P
Actually this trip had been planned for quite a long time, at first we thought 8 of us can go for a trip together, who know..that 004 put us aeroplane, rejected our invitation. Never mind, we still enjoyed our trip.

Bought 3pm bus ticket to Kuantan. However, I waited until around 5pm just saw the shadow of the bus. Alright, thought that at last the bus arrived, could start the journey to Kuantan, who know.......around 530pm the bus just started to move. I thought the journey would be smooth already; yet, the bus was driven to another station with the reason the bus had some problem. Well, drag here a while, drag there a while, around 615pm just start our journey to Kuantan. Lastly, I only reached Kuantan terminal around 130am. Ah...what a long and tired journey to reach Kuantan.

Around 5am in the morning, everyone was awaken by Shau Ling's aunt as we thought it was already 6am. Haha..since everyone did not sleep well during that night, we also did not mind to wake up earlier. Suddenly, we received a bad news that another group of us that came from Penang most probably could not reach Kuantan on time. What to do? We had to head to Tanjung Gemok Jetty seperately. After breakfast, we departed to jetty on 7am and arrived on 930am. Luckily, the group from Penang reached jetty before 1030am too. Finally, a group of 12 of us reached Tekek Village, Pulau Tioman safely after 2 hours with a ferry.

After checked in and had our lunch, we had a rest and went for our own activity. Me and another 2 friends had a walk at the beach behind our resort. The beach could not say is the most beautiful but it was much cleaner.

At the evening, we went to the beach at Berjaya Resort. The chalet there is really beautiful. However, it is quite unaffordable for students like us. The beach at Berjaya Resort is more beautiful compared with the beach behind Barbura Resort; yet the beach can be said a bit dangerous as there is a lot of stones and dead coral on the seashore. Our legs were cut by those stones and dead coral while playing at the beach.

After that, we had our dinner at a restaurant outside Berjaya Resort. 6 people ate 7 dishes! All of us total 12 people, meaning that we ate 14 dishes! Crab, squid, fish, prawn, egg, soup and veggie! All of us ate until very full that night. However, disappointingly, those photos of the dishes we took a bit blur.

At night, we went to another resort. (I forget the name of that resort already...XD) I just remembered that we need a little bit of hiking to reach the resort. The resort is near to the Marine Park. Had a relax night at the beach cafe there.

Not forget to mention, the pizza there is tasty! But I forget to take photo on it. =P

After had our breakfast, we paid a visit to Marine Park, Pulau Tioman. Nothing much to say, some photos that were taken there. =P

We brought some bread to feed those fish at snorkeling site just opposite Marine Park.

I was quite afraid although there was life jacket because I don't know how to swim. The first thought after finish this activity was : I don't like the feeling that can't step on the ground! And and and..the sea water is really really really salty!!! Haha... By the way, it is still a great experience for me although at last I still not dare to put my head into the water and float to see those fish. XD

After snorkeling, all of us really tired. Back to resort for our lunch and had some rest. In the evening, bicycle session! 12 11 of us cycle the whole Tekek Village. (why 11 not 12? because i don't know how to cycle, so i just sit behind. XD) However, not all the way we can cycled because some part of road especially the road to Berjaya Resort, all the way is hill road. We need to push the bicycle up and down the hill. Although it was quite tiring but we found another picturesque scenery of Tekek Village, every sweat was worth. Furthermore, it was a good chance to let me sweat as I already quite a long time did not sweat so much. =P

After cycling session was our dinner time. Dinner for today was BBQ dinner. Fresh fish, squid, lamb chop, prawn. hot dog...... The BBQ ingredient do not really match my appetite but it was still delicious enough. =)

We gave a surprise celebration to our two friends after the BBQ dinner. Although just a very simple celebration but it is our warmest wishes to them. Hope they like it. (actually i did not help much too. XD)

Early in the morning, we already woke up and prepared to check out. We were sad yet excited. Why? we were sad because we were going to leave this paradise, happy because we were looking forwards to the trip at Kuantan!
Oh ya! Forget to say that during these few days in Pulau Tioman, our transport was a lorry. Haha.. We were really happy to ride a lorry because city people like us never rode a lorry before!
